Very good Colombian restaurant, the decor and atmosphere are typical. The dishes are very generous. The grilled meat is excellent. The price is very affordable max 20 € / pers, drinks included. I highly recommend it, but remember to book!

Tasty, traditional Colombian food.My wife is from Colombia, when she has cravings, we come down to Brussels from Ghent especially for La Fonda.Always full of life. Large plates and very good prices.No menu, just ask for the dishes of the day.

While we were on vacation with my wife, we wondered if there was a Latin restaurant, so we found it on google, being next to our area. It is open from Friday to Sunday, payment in cash only and 100% kindness by the owner, I really enjoyed it. It doesn't bring you the menu to the table but it tells you dish by plate. We had already seen on the site so we already knew what to choose. Recommended the Bandeja Paisa!

Very nice people, typical Colombia food can improve a lot. If you want to try Colombia food in Brussels is a good option however I have tried much better in Colombia.

We very much enjoyed the experience at La Fonda. We had a couple of delicious arepas as a starter, accompanied by Colombian soda (Postobon). As a main course, we both got a huge serving of Bandeja Paisa, with red beans, pork, white rice, chicharrón, fried egg, plantain, chorizo, and avocado. One order would have probably been enough to split, but we were able to polish off most of our plates because the food was so delicious.Our waiter (the co-owner) was very pleasant, and through pictures and a combination of English and Spanish, we were able to get our order in. We didn't have any problem communicating, but be aware that it might be more difficult if you only speak French or Dutch. The place was not too busy, but enough people to have a good atmosphere. The meal was incredibly cheap (less than 50 euros for starter + 2 huge main courses + 5 drinks), and I think you'll struggle to find a better value meal for that price point.

A beautiful place with superb Colombian cuisine. It's open on Sundays and we paid 40 euros for two people with drinks. Cheap for a restaurant in the center of Brussels. The people are nice. It is a completely Latin American restaurant.

The little Colombian gem hidden in the small streets of Brussels. It is clearly only known by Colombian, curious or lucky people. The restaurant is full fledge Colombian, with music, deco, people... and FOOD.It's not expensive and it is good! The plate is really full and the meat is excellent. (If you are veggie, you might consider not going there as it is mainly meat!)The waiters are super friendly, happy to explain the menu and share a glance of their culture. To come back for sure, the best with friends!

Amazing family place. You seem to walk into the living room of a Columbian family. The reception is homely and very friendly, and they have a small menu that may change daily. Customers are mainly hispanic, which to me just proves how authentic this place is.Prices are very democratic, but be aware that this place is cash only! Also, the place is only open Friday through Sunday weekly. Ingredients are fresh and the meals are delicious, including Columbian drinks. Be sure to get some deep fried green plantains with guacamole as an appetizer, they are delicious! Best place to eat in Brussels, it doesn't get more authentic.

Good Colombian food... empanadas and bandeja paisa are on point.

We have discovered this place by chance and we have fallen in love since minute one. Great service around a very local environment. Tasty and abundant food. Prices completely in line with the city and the quality of the food. Good food, good music, good atmosphere, good people. I add it to my secret corners;)
